![]() With that industrial development as our basis, could we have expanded back into establishing the casinos and other buildings further north into Freeside rather than on the Strip proper? Considering the absolutely ruined state of Freeside in canon, it technically would have been simple to use our industrial production to start actually rebuilding and re-establishing a lot of potential casinos rather than reusing the shells of the other buildings on the Strip.Īdditionally, would we have ended up as a major trading partner for both the Brotherhood, Legion and the NCR, with them shipping in materials to us in exchange for the industrial products we could produce? Actually, what were we going to be able to produce anyway, beyond just hand-tools and the like? Was there gonna be specific limits on them? I've always wondered how much would the Brotherhood have paid us for having access to the Enclave satellite overhead? Actually, speaking on that front, we notably had a couple of the Enclave Remnants within the Freedman faction on the Strip, was there anything we could have done with them going forward?įurthermore, with a bunch of the minor factions that existed in game, could we have eventually gotten them to align with us like one of the routes in Canon New Vegas? What would have been the benefit of getting groups like the Nightmen or other potential minor factions on side? Also, speaking of minor factions, what ever happened to those groups who settled up in were Jacobstown was in canon? Was that one of the more major settlements or was it infested by the spore people from Vault 22? Would having further developed that lead to a greater influx of people moving into New Vegas seeking work and support? How did we rank in terms of 'territory' control? I figured with the vassalisation and alliance with most of the powers in Westside, Freeside and the Strip, alongside our potential technological control over Vegas' industrial regions to the south, we were pretty much on the path to controlling the actual city itself compared to the surrounding regions. So did we basically puncture any chance of a unified front between the Militia and the Kings by propping up multiple groups to squabble over who would be the dominant power in Freeside?Īctually, that makes me wonder. To quote a named NPC from Freeside "A polite society is an armed society". So they were looking to do to us in a similar manner that House did to the NCR, in that we would have been suckered into protecting them but missing out on the economic benefits they might have developed? The most important question of all Did Vault 3 have a G.E.C.K? And if it did, what could we used it on?
